Top Three Lofi Productivity Games
Another day, another big pile of work on your desk! These productivity games are the happy medium between having time to game and time to study.
Spirit City: Lofi Sessions
My absolute favorite cozy lofi game on Steam is Spirit City: Lofi Sessions. Its heavy-duty room and character customization, combined with cute little spirits to collect, make it equally entertaining and valuable for under $15. The combination of life sim, creature collector, and gamified focus tool lets you discover and collect Spirits, listen to Lofi music options, and have a whole room to decorate.
The more you work, the more points you get to buy decorations or spirit skins in the shop. The only danger is spending too much time decorating your room with plants, lamps, shelves, and candles.
Unlock spirits by changing the conditions (hour, weather, sounds, and activity).
The spirits in this game are wholesome and well-designed. I love them all, and they each have their own little charm. They are cute twists on little animals like an axolotl, hamster, cat, and tadpoles!
The developers have been great at releasing new seasonal updates, spirits, and requested items.
The music is varied, and there are different lists for different moods (uplifting, spooky, rainy day, relaxed, and more). You can also choose to use your own music through YouTube.
The game comes with four productivity utilities that aren’t overwhelming, and the UI is low-key. You can move any tool around the screen, and you can turn off the UI to simply enjoy the scenery.

ChillPulse
ChillPulse is a close second for productivity with an even better price point, $5. It has features similar to Spirit City's but far less weight. Instead of a 3D world, ChillPulse features cute pixel graphics paired with simple productivity tools.
To pass the time, collect fish or make beverages, and use your points to buy new accessories and animals. While ChillPulse doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of Spirit City, it is low profile and encourages you to focus, rather than go on a decorating spree.
The game features its own LoFi girl studying in six different scenes, with different outfit options for each scene. A set of collectible pets keep your girl company while she works. You can also play around with the phone, which gives you a relaxed storyline about the protagonist. You can also send and receive anonymous letters for a little positivity when you’re feeling down.
There are six music categories ranging from Lofi to classical with something for everyone. You can add some white noise by choosing the rain or thunderstorm weather features.
The Devs update regularly, so I’m looking forward to see what is new!

Hot Springs | Onsen
Hot Springs Onsen is a new game on Steam centered around a Japanese hot spring (Onsen). For less than $5, the atmospheric game offers a ton of features.
Design your character, customize your cozy virtual space, and participate in relaxing mini-games. Fill your Onsen with lanterns, decorations, koi fish, and pets!
The game is aesthetically beautiful, with several peaceful scenes and a soothing lofi soundtrack.
Send and receive lanterns that contain special messages to keep your spirits up while you work. You can even visit other players Onsen’s for inspiration!
This game is brand new, so I’m curious to see what the devs have in store in the future!
